Bio
Charessa Koontz has dedicated her life to teaching and mentoring people in their faith
development for over 25 years. She has served in various roles in churches and organizations as a
Director of Christian Education and Family Life Ministries. She is passionate about sharing the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and challenging people to grow in their relationship with Him.
Charessa also has a rich background in media as she has worked in print, radio and television
markets in Texas and Nebraska. She learned early in her career the power of storytelling and its
impact on the audience. As a young child, she dreamed of working for a large television broadcast
network sharing the stories of everyday Americans. Her mantra was simple.
Everyone has a story...and it matters!
This was a driving force and core value that led her pursuit for the 17 questions journaling series.
Charessa wanted to take her two loves and combine them into a way to help tell the greatest story
of all--Jesus and You!
